I am a big fan of one piece so obviously I'll say it is awesome but I want to try to explain why

the plot sounds pretty simple (the story passes in a different world btw)

The pirate king when he was about to be executed he revealed the location of the greatest treasure in the world, One Piece, which no one really knows what it is. After hearing this, many people started to look for it. This same location is not easy to get to and the dead pirate king was the only one who was able to go there.
About 22 years later, a 17 year old boy, Luffy, started his life has a pirate with One Piece as an objective which would give him the title of the new Pirate King. Also while traveling he'll gather some members for his crew


now the greatest thing of one piece is not this what I just said. it's the fact that the story starts really simple and normal but as the episodes pass it gets greater and greater and with more impact between the sagas. Even the plot starts to get more and more complex. And the world of this manga is just amazing.

the manga is running for about 12 years already and it's definitely getting better... the author never got to disappoint his readers (at least I talk for myself XD. You laugh with all the episodes and if you're kind of sensitive you get to cry many times too.


I'm sorry for the long comment but I tried my best XD and this is just a little because there are many things that I didn't mention about the one piece word like the "Devil's Fruits" which I'll let you discover by yourself what it is if you ever get to watch the anime or read the manga
